Today the girls traveled to the food markets, where we were confronted
with some Cambodian specialty ingredients, some of which none of us had
ever heard of. Shortly all girls became vegetarians after being exposed to
their out there meat.
The girls were introduced to our cooking teacher who took us up to the roof
tops not too far from our hotel. We were taught to cook spring roles and
traditional Cambodian fish, after recieving an apron and cook book we,
travelled to the La Valla Disabled Childrens' School where we spent some time
with the kids playing in the pool and loosing a game of volleyball.
The ex-students of the school communicated to us via translator, talking
a bit about their life and living in Cambodia with a disability. All the girls got
along really well with the other kids and hope to come back and visit.
